This hotel is excellent. Very centrally located, with bus to airport and tram stops one block away. Two blocks from Rijksmuseum. It’s nice to be central but also not in the heart of all the noise, so you can get a good sleep. The hotel was …
I would give it a 6 star if I could. The service here is impeccable. The front desk let us check in at 7am since we got off an early flight.
Was greatest by waffles and a hand written note on a beautiful post card featuring the hotel it self. Nice souvenir. The room was very clean and shockingly spacious for Europe standard. They provided not only a Nespresso machine but also a kettle and spring water. Very thoughtful.
The location is also very convenient being opposite of van goghs museum and across from the tram.
Really really loved staying here.
Absolutely perfect. Charming, attentive and knowledgeable staff and management. Comfortable, pretty and super clean room. Breakfast was excellent and the crepe ( Pancake ) was special treat. Location could not be better for museums, restaurants or shopping.
Hotel Fita is a gem of a hotel near museums (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh). It has all the historical feel and the neighborhood is lovely. If you are there in December, the Christmas Markets are nearby. A caution for some - the stairs are quite …
Lovely boutique hotel, well appointed smallish rooms with balcony, desk and wardrobe and coffee/tea amenities. Nice bathroom that did not feel cramped, good toiletries and everything very clean. Comfortable mattress - I was in a single …
Very good reception. Very friendly & helpful receptionist who upgraded our room for free. The room was very nice, clean and complete. Next time when I'm in Amsterdam, it will be Hotel Fita again.
Had a great experience at Fita. Customer service is excellent. All staff goes out of their way to be helpful and are super friendly. I came in on a 6:30am flight and was still able to get my room early although I really wasn't expecting it. My 1-person room was small but comes with all the essentials. The toilet is comfortably large. I am able to place my large suitcase properly in a luggage stand in the room. There are many power plugs in the room. The small elevator is so helpful when transporting my luggage considering the steepness of those stairs. If you prefer not to lug your luggage down the stairs at the hotel entrance, speak to a staff to exit thru its basement floor. This hotel is located next to a pre-school. So, it is not ideal if you prefer to stay in your room during daytime on weekdays. You can easily walk to anywhere in the city center from here. It is a safe neighborhood. So, I have no problem walking back late at night from bars and clubs. I took the airport bus 397 to this location. The bus stop is a few minutes walk to the hotel. There are also 2 trams that go to the Centraal train station where u can catch the Eurostar and other regional trains. There is a lack of restaurant options near the hotel - you have to walk about 10mins to get to a whole lot of them. It is quiet in my room during my stay.
Large room with good desk space and big bed. Room 32 opens out on the quiet(night time) front street. Noisy school playground across the street. 5 steep steps to enter the building. Very small elevator. One person and luggage or 2 people. Excellent breakfast. This is our second stay. Previous stay in May 2017.
